Portledge School is located in pastoral Locust Valley, just 15 minutes north of the Long Island Expressway and closer to Northern Boulevard.
DIRECTIONS TO PORTLEDGE FROM THE EAST:
Take LIE to exit 41 North, Route 107 North (Cedar Swamp Rd.). Approximately 100 yds. after crossing
25A (Northern Blvd.), turn right onto Hegeman’s Lane. Go to end. Turn right onto Chicken Valley Road. At first light, turn left onto Piping Rock Road. At first stop light, turn right onto Duck Pond Road. The Portledge School driveway is 4/10ths of a mile on the left.
DIRECTIONS TO PORTLEDGE FROM THE WEST:
Take LIE to Exit 39. At the stoplight, turn left and head north on Glen Cove Road. After crossing 25A
(Northern Blvd), proceed 4 miles to the Glen Street exit. Go straight through the traffic light, up the hill,
and continue for 2.2 miles, crossing RR tracks and Piping Rock Road. Portledge School will be on your left.
