Dear Portledge Community,
I hope that you are having a relaxing and fruitful summer, spending quality time with family and friends. As we look forward to the new school year, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning families. I am honored to serve as the President of our Parents’ Association this year alongside a very dedicated parent body, and a talented, imaginative faculty.
The beauty of Portledge extends well beyond the magnificence of our campus, our academic excellence, and our outstanding athletic accomplishments; it includes a community that cares deeply about its students and one another. In a small school such as ours, every person counts. The participation of our parents imbues Portledge with a variety of talents and perspectives that create an enriching community. It is this collaboration that makes Portledge both unique and exceptional.
I invite and encourage you to join us at our first
Parents Association meeting on Wednesday, September 14
th, 7:30 pm in Bahnik Hall.
We will be discussing our plans for the coming year, introducing our new officers, class parents, Founders Day Chairs, and opening the floor for the Town hall portion of our meeting. Please check the Portledge website and your emails on a regular basis.
Founders Day will take place on Saturday, September 24
