From pre-Kindergarten through sixth grade students learn math concepts and skills through the Everyday Math Program most recently updated in 2006 and based on research from the University of Chicago School Mathematics Project. This curriculum explores all the major math concepts: algebra, data analysis, geometry, patterns, measurement, numeration and probability. Students learn math concepts through developmentally appropriate activities that spiral through the grades and gain deeper understanding of skills and concepts because they are repeated and built on over the elementary school years. The Everyday Math Program has built-in enrichment activities for students who acquire and retain skills quickly.
