For the first time in over two years, the Portledge squash team vanquished their long-time rivals, Friends Seminary, with a crushing defeat of 10-1. Everyone played really well in their first outing of the season. Ryan Krown '14 was on fire all day, and only allowed a combined 15 points against him in three games. Zach Cooper-Vastola '12 had a similar set of victories, allowing only 13 points. Charlie Hobbs '14 had some of the best games of the day, winning his match with scores of 11-9, 12-10, and 11-3. Special mention goes to Eric Ghaly '14, who won his match despite only picking up a racket for the first time the season. With such a strong start to the year, Portledge is eagerly looking forward to our next game at Poly Prep.
