Third Grade Reading Assignment
Always Have A Book To Read
As part of this year's homework assignment, we must be reading every night for at least twenty minutes. Your child's Reading Folder containing their Reading Log will be sent home everyday. They are to complete the necessary information after they have read. A parent or guardian's signature is necessary for each night's "reading time". Please remember to sign their Reading Log with your initials. It is important!
Once a week as the year progresses, your child's Reading Notebook will also be sent home for homework. Children will be instructed on how to write a letter to me about the book they are reading. I will write a letter in return to them. At times, specific information will be needed in this letter as we learn and discuss reading strategies.
