Course Summary
The sixth grade history course holds a skills-based learning objective that requires the students to be accountable and responsible for their thoughts and interactions with the curriculum. Throughout the year students will study a multitude of countries, cultures and beliefs that will no doubt raise questions and discussion. While the goal is to create independent thinkers and inventive collaboration, the sixth graders will find constant support and guidance while navigating such unknown waters. This course is designed to help strengthen and enhance reading, writing, comprehension and presentation skills in the context of studying global history.
