STUDIO ART(10th, 11th, 12th - 1 cr./ 3 trimesters *Offered every year.This course is structured as an intensive investigation into the creation of two and three-dimensional art. Emphasis will be placed on the process and vocabulary of art as well as its elements and principles. Both realism and abstraction will be explored in the areas of drawing, painting, and printmaking. Field trips to galleries and museums on Long Island or inNew York Citymay be included.
