Artist of the Month
	October: Artists of the Month    Sculptures celebrating the Statue of Liberty's 125th birthday, created by students in the Lower School were selected as the October Artist of the Month. Students include: Will Weis, Brody Ort, pre-kindergarten, Eliza Worth, Julien Siebenhandl, second grade, Trevor Cattier, and Christen Luongo, third grade.

	Each Month, a work of art created by a Lower School student is selected by Ms. Benter or Mr. Myers. Student art work is selected with careful consideration given towards craftsmanship, thoughtfulness, and growth for the individual artist. The selected artist is announced, during Wednesday morning assembly as the "Artist of the Month". Parents are encouraged to join us during the assembly in order to celebrate their son or daughter's achievement in art. Student art work is framed and put on display for a month in the Lower School lobby.
