Portledge hosts many events throughout the year. The biggest annual events include:

 

Founders Day - a day to honor our past and celebrate our future. This event, held every fall, brings together the entire Portledge community including students, parents, faculty, former faculty, alumni, relatives and friends. Spirit Week and a Pep Rally kick off the festivities.

 

Champions for Charity® - a holiday shopping benefit in early December. Registered shoppers who purchase items at participating Americana Manhasset and Wheatley Plaza stores automatically generate a donation (25% of their purchases) to the Portledge School Financial Aid Fund.

           

Auction Gala – a night of fun in April where the entire Portledge community (parents, faculty and alumni) celebrate together, and all proceeds raised go to support the school’s operating budget.

           

Joslin Cup – a golf event held in May for the Portledge community and our business partners. Proceeds raised go to the Robert A. Joslin, Jr. Financial Aid Fund.
