Mr. Greene's Art 9 class presented its biannual mock art auction during the January 13th Town Meeting.
The Mock Art Auction event is the culminating event to a semester length study of art history. Students select different art movements and works of art created by artists within the different art movements are selected and reproduced through paintings copied by the Art 9 students. Final works are voted upon by middle school students. Selected works are then bid upon through silent bids offered by adviser groups. Winning bidders get to "acquire" select Art 9 paintings and hang the
work(s) in the advisor's classroom for temporary loan.
