Students should read at least three books this summer either by themselves or with a parent.
 
Please use this reading log to keep track of books read.


1. Read a book (non-fiction or fiction)

 

2. Create a colorful and detailed poster showing something that happens in the story. You can use crayon, markers, coloring pencils, paint…anything you would like to make the picture look detailed and colorful!

 

3. Write the title of the book and author at the top.

 

4. a. For a fiction book write a sentence telling what the story was about .

    b. For a non-fiction book write a sentence telling one thing you learned from

         the book.

 

5. Write your first and last name at the bottom.

 

6. Bring the poster back to school in September.
