Based on her proposal and her good motivation, I am presenting a syllabus that is aimed at meeting both her expectations and the expectations of the level of French 4 Conversation and Culture. This course will introduce various aspects of French civilization through media. (TV 5 and TV monde) and cultural studies, (such as social issues, history, geography), and will address an awareness of the cultures (ways of life) of French speaking peoples.Through readings, discussions, and lectures, Samantha will increase her proficiency in reading and listening comprehension and acquire French vocabulary and expressions needed in order to discuss aspects of the francophone world. The course will include a general review of grammar, which will help her improve her ability to write, read, and express herself in French.   When   Tuesday  period L Wednesday period D,E and Friday period L Assessments Oral Presentation (30%)Samantha will give a monthly Oral presentation in class on a topic related to the theme covered in class. Writing proficiency (20%) Samantha will write a page every week in her journal. Her work will be graded first as a draft, then as a final grade. Reading proficiency (20%) She will be exposed to a great variety of articles from the media relevant to the topic of the month. Listening proficiency (20%) She will be exposed to a wide variety of resources from TV and radio broadcasts.
