Congratulations to the first grade class for being a grand prize winner in the group category for the “Rock the Statue Green: A Transatlantic Art Contest,” celebrating the Statue of Liberty's 125th birthday, the environment and Franco-American friendship.

Over 4,000 students participated worldwide.  With the help of Ms. Husing, the class created “It’s Not Easy Being Green,” a video about the importance of recycling.
