T- 1/10                       Read the story about Saddako, then watch the Youtube video on how to fold a paper crane. Try it and bring it in!

W- 1/11                     Choose a culture or festival that you learned about and write a haiku about it on the special paper given to you. Decorate it with appropriate Japanese symbols.

Th- 1/12                    Begin to study for test on Japan. Test will be WEDNESDAY.

F- 1/13                     Study for test on Japan on WEDNESDAY.

M- 1/16         No School…Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

T- 1/17           Study for test on Japan

W- 1/18         Look up 5 products that are made in India and write them down.

Th- 1/19         Read daily life of an Indian boy. Create a comparing and contrasting chart.

F- 1/20           Look up the Hindu/Buddhist words given. Make sure that you can understand and explain your definitions. Write them on separate paper in your vocabulary section.
