Welcome to the Portledge Summer Adventures webpage! On this page you will be able to register for programs, read about what we are offering this summer and view photos from past summers.
This year we are excited to be starting our summer off one week earlier than usual, working harder to meet the needs of our parents, children and families. Several programs will begin the week of June 18, so take a look for those new options, including GOLF, ART & CHESS!.
We will also be offering an EXTRA week of Early Childhood, making it a seven week program this summer!! This program will begin June 25 and offer the option to continue until August 10. As usual a week to week option is available or come and spend the entire summer with your friends at Portledge Summer Adventures!! We are offering greater add-on options for our younger friends, including Messy Afternoons, Drama and Wood working. These programs will meet from 1pm to 3pm and give your children the option to stay a full day at Summer Adventures.
We have many new programs for older students as well this summer, including more Golf, Intro to Chinese, Cake Decorating! Games UNPLUGGED, Yoga/ Mind Body week, Minecraft Lego and an advanced Physics Lab class, to name just a few. Many of the favorites from last year will be back including Lego Building and Video Game Creator, Sewing, renamed Fun with Fabrics, new art programs such as Native American Stories & Art, and new science options, that include Earth's Fury and Pre-Historic Past!
We are hosting several fun, interactive Open Houses; on Sunday Feb 12, Sat. March 31 and Sat. May 19 from Noon to 2pm. I am also always happy to meet with anyone on an individual basis if these dates are inconvenient. I look forward to a great Summer Adventure with your children!!
