Stanco '19 named in Top 50 Soccer Players to Watch on Long Island

Portledge Senior Marissa Stanco has been named one of the Top 50 Soccer Players to watch in 2017 by Newsday. This comes after Stanco scored a Portledge record 26 goals last season and was named PSAA Most Valuable Player for both the regular season and the playoffs for the third year in a row. Stanco has committed to Fordham University to begin playing soccer there next Fall. She netted her first goal of the 2017 season Wednesday, September 6th to cap a 4-0 season opening victory for the Lady Panthers over arch rival Long Island Lutheran.
