Welcome Letter from Lindsey Barnett, Auction Chair

New Day, New Concept, New Venue!

Hello Portledge,

Time to mark your calendars everyone and start working on your fun “cocktail chic” attire! The Portledge Benefit will be held on Friday, March 29th, 2019 at an amazing venue called The Space at Westbury. The event will include silent and live auctions, hors-d'oeuvres, sushi, savory tasting tables, drinks, and of course, lots of dancing! We are also extremely thrilled to be honoring our President of the Board of Trustees, Samara Meshel P’14 P’19, on this special evening.

Following all the exceptional chairs before me and their amazing work, I am beyond excited to be able to help with our largest fundraising event of the school year. What a better way to raise money for our extraordinary institution than a night with great friends, delicious food, spectacular items to purchase and music to keep you out late on a Friday!

With the Benefit now on your radar, we welcome any help you can give to make this the best auction yet! There are various ways to get involved -- gather your friends for a night out, donate auction items or purchase a journal ad (the popular patron package is back). The Benefit would not be a success without the support of our community, so mark your calendars for Friday, March 29th, and get ready to eat, drink and be giving!

For any questions or to get involved, please feel free to contact either me or Kelly Walles in the Development Office. Looking forward to creating an amazing and memorable evening!
