Portledge in the Now.

DEI Coffee

Commons - Dining Hall - C-DH
In conjunction with National Bullying Prevention Month, we will come together to talk about the various types of bullying that our children face, the warning signs for bullying we should look out for as well as tips and strategies families can use to prevent bullying.
We will be joined by Portledge administrators, Ms. Stephanie Heins, Lead Psychologist; Dr. Laura Morizio, Educational Psychologist; Mrs. Elaina Schroeder, Director of Learning Strategies Program and MS Counselor; and Ms. Melissa Gold, Lower School Educational Psychologist. The discussion will be facilitated by our Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Traci Douglas, and our Parents Association VP of DEI, Claudia Quiroz-Marcos.

Families on all divisional levels are encouraged to attend this PA event. In advance of the meeting, we ask that you read the article What Can Parents Do About Bullying? We also share the following resources for parents for your ongoing review:
We look forward to seeing you on October 13th at 8:45 a.m.! The event will take place in the Commons dining area immediately after arrival.
