MLK JR. Day Celebration

Nurturing the Dream

A day-long celebration throughout all three divisions to commemorate and acknowledge the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The day will consist of workshops, music, drama productions, Inclusion Club presentations, a visit from Grammy-winning Flor de Toloache, a keynote speaker, and interactive activities and discussion groups. The Coordinator of Diversity and Inclusion along with the Inclusion Committee and the music and art departments collaborated to create a program that promotes inclusivity and diversity and honors the work, life, and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Aligned with Strategic Plan goal #4, Equity and Social Justice, the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration will be a day filled with engaging and educational conversations and collaborations.
