Portledge Senior Marissa Stanco has been named one of the Top 50 Soccer Players to watch in 2017 by Newsday. This comes after Stanco scored a Portledge record 26 goals last season and was named PSAA Most Valuable Player for both the regular season and the playoffs for the third year in a row. Stanco has committed to Fordham University to begin playing soccer there next Fall. She netted her first goal of the 2017 season Wednesday, September 6th to cap a 4-0 season opening victory for the Lady Panthers over arch rival Long Island Lutheran. Click here
