October Athletes of the Month

Athletic Department
The Portledge Athletic Department has restarted the Athlete of the Month tradition this school year. As part of recognizing top athletic achievement, Portledge will name a male and female athlete of the month in both the Middle and Upper Schools. Recipients are named at the first divisional morning meeting each month.

A huge congratulations goes out to our Athletes of the Month for October:
Middle School
Tucker Terranova ‘23 for his dedication to the Middle School Cross Country team. Tucker ran at practice every day without complaints and assisted the coach not only in organizing the practices but also helping the younger students out whenever they had questions.

Eliza Worth ‘22 for her consistent high-level of effort and positive energy. Eliza performed above and beyond both in practice and in games, and encouraged her teammates to maintain a positive mentality whenever she was on the field.

Upper School
Olivia Lynch ‘18 for her dedication to the Varsity Girls Tennis team. Olivia demonstrated reliability and dominance on the court, consistently producing a winning result in the number two singles spot.

Brian Chasanoff ‘19 for his consistent effort level on the Varsity Cross Country team and continued success in the PSAA Meets. Brian played an important leadership role both during practice and during meets and was a great example to the other runners.
