Portledge vs. LuHi Round 1

It was an overcast and cool day over at Tam O Shanter, as LuHi hosted the Portledge Varsity Boys Golf team at the beautiful Tam O’Shanter course in Jericho. It was a sunny day for the team who performed clean sweep right down the lineup, resulting in a 6-0 victory. The first group consisting of Payne Plum ‘23 and Sebastian Tate ‘23, had relatively close matches but ended up 2-up and 1-up respectively. George Anderson ‘20, Carter Biondi ‘22, and Tanner Flood ‘21 all won their matches within the first 5 holes. Christopher Chiu ‘21 was ready to go with a crushed drive down the first hole, and ended up winning through forfeit. The teams will face off again on Monday at Piping Rock.
