Portledge in the Now.

April is Arab American Heritage Month

April is National Arab American Heritage Month. Each year, since 2021 and during the month of April, our country recognizes the contributions members of the Arab American community have made to the United States.
Cultural institutions, schools, and non-profit organizations across the nation lead events acknowledging Arabic history and culture. At Portledge, we seek to provide opportunities for faculty and students to engage in cultural celebrations throughout the school year. These mostly student-led events shape our DEI programming while raising awareness about the many different ethnic and religious groups represented on our campus.
