National Merit Scholarship Recognition

Holly Simon (Portledge School class of 2024) and Anna Bloch (Portledge School class of 2024) secured the prestigious National Merit Scholarship. This scholarship, funded by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), recognizes their exceptional academic achievements.
From a pool of nearly 16,000 students in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program, Holly and Anna emerged as standout winners, showcasing their dedication and intellectual mastery.

To qualify for this esteemed scholarship, Holly and Anna had to meet rigorous criteria, including a comprehensive application process and a demonstration of exceptional academic achievement. Among over 15,000 finalists, they were among the approximately 7,140 students selected to receive this scholarship. The NMSC will formally recognize their achievement by presenting them with certificates in late spring.

Join us in celebrating the success of Holly Simon and Anna Bloch, our 2024 National Merit Scholarship recipients, as they continue to excel and inspire.
