Portledge Robotics Prodigy Rowan S.’26 Secures Spot as 2024 FIRST Dean’s List Finalist!

It is with great pleasure that we announce Rowan S. from the class of '26 as a 2024 FIRST Dean’s List Finalist! Rowan embodies the essence of the FIRST Tech Challenge, showcasing exceptional skills in robot design, construction, coding, and gameplay at both the Qualifier and LI Regional Championship competitions. Moreover, Rowan is competing for the coveted title of FIRST Dean’s List Winner later this month in Houston.

During Spring Break, Rowan, alongside six other Portledge robotic students, Costa Z.’25,  Ellis R.’25, Jacob M.’25, Jeremy C.’25, and Skylar F.’26, engaged in rigorous online interviews, showcasing their dedication and expertise. From a global pool of nominees, only 10 outstanding students will be crowned as FIRST Dean’s List Winners at the upcoming event.

Portledge extends its heartfelt wishes for success to Rowan as he continues on this remarkable journey. Congratulations, Rowan, and may your dedication and talent continue to shine bright!
