Making the PYP Happen
In June 2023, the Lower School faculty participated in a professional development program given by the International Baccalaureate to prepare for the PYP (Primary Years Programme).
"Making the PYP Happen" was a three-day professional development workshop that focused on immersing teachers in the PYP framework. Teachers gained insight into what learning and teaching look like in this transdisciplinary, inquiry-driven curriculum and were guided on what the PYP could look like at Portledge.
