Our campus was buzzing with energy as the Portledge community came together for a picture-perfect Founders Day on Saturday, October 4! Families, students, faculty, staff, and alumni filled the grounds to enjoy an afternoon of games, crafts, food trucks, and school spirit under sunny skies.
The weekend kicked off with a special Alumni Reunion and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, where we proudly celebrated Justin Ort ’90, Marc Perry ’00, Ryan Vesce ’00, Joe Duszak ’15, and the 2010 Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse Team—the only athletic team in Portledge history to win a state championship. It was a meaningful evening honoring their achievements and lasting impact on the Portledge community.
A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers and vendors whose hard work and enthusiasm made the day such a success. Your dedication truly brings our community to life.
The celebrations continued on the fields, where Panther Pride reached new heights — the Boys Varsity Soccer team fought to an exciting tie, and the Girls Varsity Soccer team earned a 2–0 victory in the Game of the Week!
From laughter in the Panther Den to cheers from the sidelines, this year’s Founders Day was a wonderful reminder of what makes Portledge so special — community, connection, and pride in every step.
