Portledge in the Now.

A Few Minutes, A Big Impact

Sometimes, a few minutes of decorating can mean a whole weekend of meals for a child. Portledge KFIP (Kids Food Independence Program) Ambassadors, together with Peer Leadership and the Community Service Club, decorated over 200 KFIP meal bags in just 30 minutes!

Each bag will be filled with shelf-stable food by NOSH Delivers and delivered to children facing food insecurity in our community.

KFIP is a youth-led initiative that provides decorated meal bags to children who may lack reliable access to food on weekends, school breaks, and holidays, ensuring they not only receive meals but also feel seen, supported, and cared for.

We’re proud of our Portledge community for showing that small actions can make a big difference.

Thank you, Lachlan V. ’27, for the photos.
