Upper School International Baccalaureate Information Session

Middle School - Bahnik Hall - MSBH
Contact: Trish Rigg
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) is a globally recognized program that ensures a challenging academic program where students gain the skills necessary to be successful in all measures of life. Since offering the IB at Portledge, the program has grown exponentially.

Critical thinking and communication - skills that colleges and universities highly value - are at the core of a Portledge education and are the guiding factors of the IB Diploma Programme. The desired outcome of the program is to “inspire students to ask questions, pursue personal aspirations, set challenging goals, and develop the persistence to achieve those goals.”

On Tuesday, December 11th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in Bahnik Hall, an information session will take place to outline specifics of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Portledge School.

As course selection planning for the following year begins in February, we encourage you to learn about the options available to your child as soon as possible. If, for any reason, you are unable to make this event but would like more information, please contact Trish Rigg, IB Coordinator, at trigg@portledge.org or 516-750-3164 to set up a time to discuss this program.
