Portledge in the Now.

Portledge Continues Great Play

On another rainy day, the Portledge Boys Golf team faced off against LuHi and came out with the ‘W’ with very strong rounds on the Panther side.  Ross Klein ‘21 had his best round of the season, breaking 50 with 3 pars in a row, resulting in him winning his match. Ross’s attitude, patience, and desire to get better is paying off and is exciting to see! Medalist with a 42, and a win, was 8th grader Payne Plum ‘23. He continues to play in the top spot, competing well. George Anderson ‘20, had a 43 and continues to play very solid golf. Sebastian Tate ‘23 finished with a respectable 45. Carter Biondi ‘22 carded a 57 and won his match, never letting up on his focus of trying to grind out the match. Tanner Flood ‘21 won his match and is a huge piece to the stability of this years team with consistent play and an improved game. Demetri Passelis ‘23 competed well despite having a sprained ankle. Marco Passelis ‘24 got to play the course alongside two members of the coaching staff and gained great experience! The future is bright for the golf team. The team won all 6 matches again vs. LuHi. Way to dominate Panthers!
