Portledge Ties It Up Late!
Last night the Varsity B team took on Xavier at the Dam. The Portledge players did an outstanding job, coming out hot, taking a 3-1 lead. Xavier wasn't going down without a fight and took a 4-3 lead heading into the third period. Heading into the third, the coaching staff and team talked about taking a different road than previous games. Portledge went down 7-4 and then....in the last 4 minutes....the Panthers scored 3 straight! Portledge pulled their goalie and Sammy Zarou '25 tied the game! What a tremendous team effort all around!
