Advantages
Writing my Theory of Knowledge essay was the first time I was given the independence to research and write about something that truly interested me.
I struggled with the process in high school, down to the most basic step of picking (and sticking with) a subject. Yet, I think it was a valuable learning experience to have before entering college, as the majority of my classes are centered around independent writing projects. I also believe that IB gave me an advantage over my peers in terms of my critical thinking skills.
