Portledge Students Achieve Prestigious All-State Music Honors

This December, three of our talented students are heading to Rochester, NY, to perform at the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Conference. One of the top honors a high school musician can earn in New York.

Every year, thousands of students audition for this prestigious event, and Portledge is proud to celebrate three of our own who made the cut:
  • Chloe F. ’26 – New York All-State Vocal Jazz Ensemble
  • Stephanie A. ’27 – New York All-State Vocal Jazz Ensemble
  • Joshua L. ’27 – Double Bass Orchestra
This is the first time Portledge has had three students accepted to All-State in the same year. A huge testament to their talent, dedication, and passion for music.
As December approaches, we look forward to cheering on Chloe, Stephanie, and Joshua as they perform alongside some of the finest young musicians in the state. Please join us in celebrating these remarkable accomplishments!
